Sometimes it can feel like the world is too big to change...
But there’s a different reality–small things CAN lead to big changes–and it’s what Soul Spectrum Universe is rooted in.
A core part of our mission is making a difference around the world, especially in developing nations. So when you invest in Soul Spectrum Universe, we invest in our charities, empowering and supporting the worldwide projects that are near and dear to our hearts.
Once we make things “official” with you and you become a member and/or customer of Soul Spectrum Universe, we will be donating 10% of your paid investment one of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that are close to our heart.
We place purpose before profits because we know that it leads to creating meaningful impact, even higher profits and happier employees and customers.
Tied At The Heart is a dedicated 501c3 to providing birth parent support. They work to facilitate healing retreats throughout the United States. They believe that no birth parent should feel alone or unsupported in their post placement journey. This cause is near and dear to Martina Muir's heart because of her own adoption story as well as working with birthmothers through speaking and mentoring in post-placement programs.
The Business Box for Families in Kenya is through 100 Humanitarians International, 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization. This program consists of gardens, chickens, goats, and cows, given to families along with mentoring and education on how to use the resources to generate the most income possible for their families.
100 Humanitarians International begins with teaching stewardship through gardening. The goal is to grow the garden for food, and sell the excess to help the family with additional supplies. They typically work with families who fall below the poverty line of living on less than $1.90/day. Through their training, they hope to bring them out of extreme poverty, and create sustainability.
When a family shows good stewardship in growing the gardens, they provide them with a rooster and 5 chickens to start a small chicken breeding program. As an example, one family grew their chickens to 40, and are now selling up to 35 eggs each day at 10 cents per egg. When a family can sell 35 eggs each day, they are now out of extreme poverty and above the poverty line, and can continue to expand with goats and cows for milk.
