Listening to uplifting music really does make a difference in your clarity, mood and productivity - and science has proven it.

Keep attention on how the music makes you feel.

If the music makes you feel sad or if it’s lyrically heavy, it can be distracting and negatively affect you.

The right kind of music has the power to uplift you - even help you focus, learn better, and problem-solve.

Science has proven this through the work of Doctor Emoto.

“Masaru Emoto was a Japanese author, researcher and entrepreneur, who claimed that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water.” - Wikipedia

Here's what he found in his own words (from masaru-emoto.net)

It was 1994 when the idea to freeze water and observe it with microscope came upon me. With this method, I was convinced that I should be able to see something like snow crystals.

… from the water from rivers and lakes where water is kept pristine from development, we could observe beautiful crystals with each one having its own uniqueness.

The observation was done in various ways:

> Showing letters to water

> Showing pictures to water

> Playing music to water

> Praying to water

Here are some observations of frozen water after being exposed to different music genres:

John Lennon – Imagine – masaru-emoto.net

The Beatles – Yesterday – masaru-emoto.net

Mozart – Symphony No. 40 – masaru-emoto.net

A Heavy Metal Song – masaru-emoto.net

In these experiments when water was exposed to most music genres and positive words, the water created beautiful geometric and mostly symmetrical designs. When water was exposed to hateful words or Heavy Metal music, the water's "inner energy" turned to a big hot mess. Compare the heavy metal water to the water that was exposed to the word, "evil".

We're not here to convince you of anything, so check out Emoto's research for yourself and choose for yourself which type of music you feel is harmonious to your work and play time. The full experiments photos can be viewed here: https://www.masaru-emoto.net/en/science-of-messages-from-water/
